The library has contracted with Mango Languages (a Flash-based Web application) for free online language instruction! The teaching method quickly engages you in real conversations between two native speakers. Your instructor will take you through every step of the process. Each lesson revisits previously learned material, but you have complete control over your learning experience. Mango Languages offers lessons in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Greek, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, ESL Polish, ESL Spanish, and ESL Brazilian Portuguese. Wagnalls is unwired!
We now have wireless internet access for
library visitors. The best signal is in the Robert Rager Reading
Room on the main floor.
Sorry, but the library staff will not be available to assist with any computer setup.
Daily Delivery System
- Use the Wagnalls Memorial Library Online Catalog to place a hold (have your card ready) on items from any of the Central Library Consortium libraries. Reserved materials will be available for pick-up at our library within a few days.TELECIRC - Access your library record by telephone! Call (614) 833-1004 to find out what you have currently checked out, and the due dates, renew materials, and cancel items currently on hold. This service is available anytime except 3-8 a.m.
Attention Telecirc users
- Due to recent changes within our automated
system, it is possible that not all of your videos will
renew using TELECIRC. If you encounter
any problems renewing your videos or any other items
please contact the circulation desk at 837-4765 extension
127 during regular operating hours. Thank you for your
patience while we attempt to correct this problem.
Don’t forget that those of you with Internet access
can use our catalog, check your patron records, and renew
or place holds through our website, 24 hours a day, seven
days a week.
Reference Computer Services - Plan a trip, research stocks and mutual funds, local and national businesses, government documents, college and universities, and solve many other research problems with the online services in our reference department.

A NOTE FROM THE CIRCULATION DESK
The drive-up book drop in the parking lot, allows you to
return any item borrowed from the library. That
includes videos, DVDs, and CDs. All items may now be
returned using the book drop.

Attention: Scrapbookers, Team Moms, and
Crafty People
The Juvenile Library has an Ellison machine and an Accu
Cut machine. New dies are added on a regular basis. We
currently have 192 large dies, 42 extra large dies,
2-inch letters and numbers, and 3-inch letters. We have a
new border cutout for picture frames, word cutouts for #1
and Go Team pennants, soccer balls, footballs, and much
more. To use the machine you must have a Wagnalls
Memorial Library card and pay a five-dollar annual use
fee. Just bring your imagination and your own paper (or
felt, or whatever) and go to it!
